Audi SQ7 2024: the V8 could not be missing from the party

With the arrival of a new update for the Audi Q7, its top-of-the-range variant has also been revealed. The new Audi SQ7 2024 It is the continuation of a saga that has been on the market for some time. It is also confirmation that the V8 could not miss the party and that the firm with the four rings will maintain its larger engines for a little longer. The large premium SUV offers very outstanding features and improves in some points such as equipment.

As we said, under the hood appears the 4.0 liter TFSI V8, the gasoline block that has been used for a long time in other models such as the RS 6 Avant. Always linked to the eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive, this model offers 507 HP and 770 Nm of torque to be the fastest in the family. That translates into acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. Although this example with the engine with selective cylinder disconnection hides other benefits.

It offers a truly sporty sound thanks to the exhaust system with a butterfly to modulate it and can optionally benefit from the advanced undercarriage. With this element, the Audi SQ7 adds a sports differential with torque vectoring and the possibility of sending more force to the outside wheel in a curve and improving behavior. It also boasts of the electromechanical active roll stabilization (eAWS), a technology that works with the 48 V electrical system and whose purpose is to prevent rolling and tilting of its body.

On an aesthetic level It’s pretty easy to distinguish the Audi SQ7 from the rest of the range. On the front apron there is a splitter that is specific, as is the framework of its Singleframe grill. There are aluminum details typical of any S of the four rings, while the rear is dressed with a sportier diffuser which is the one that houses the double oval outlets of this model. The wheels are 21 inches as standard and they can reach up to 22 inches. Through them you can see oversized discs and black brake calipers (red as an option).

The price of this copy starts from 124,770 euros in Spain.
