Sporty for A2. The Benelli Tornado 400 already has an arrival date at European dealers

Everything indicates that Benelli is already working on the start of the distribution of its new Tornado 400 within the European continent. That is at least the information provided by the American media Ride Apart, which points to this first half of 2024 as the ideal moment for the landing of the Italian model.

Although it has been sold in China for some time now, under the commercial name Tornado 402, in Europe it is very likely that this will become the Tornado 400. In addition, the pertinent adjustments would be made, if necessary, to adapt the mechanics to the current Euro5 environmental regulations that prevail in our borders.

On the other hand, the Tornado 400 also stands out in terms of finishing and cycle part where, the firm belonging to the business conglomerate Qianjiang Motorshas not skimped on means.

We can see it in elements such as its single sided swingarm rear or its efficient braking composed of separate front discs activated by floating calipers signed by Nissin.

In terms of suspensions, the brand is committed to a Marzocchi front inverted fork, together with a rear monoshock, which work in a coordinated manner together with tubular steel chassis supported on two 17” wheels. These are shod with Maxxis Sport tires in size 110/70R17 and 150/60R17.

Finally, the equipment is completed with a technological level that lives up to expectations, where we find Full-LED lighting, 5” full-color TFT screenas an instrument panel, with bluetooth system or a USB port to be able to charge our smartphone.

The new one Tornado 400 will have to face rivals at the level of Kawasaki’s Ninja 400, the CFMoto 450 SR or Yamaha YZF-R3. Taking into account the price of all of them, above 6,000 euros, we assume that the transalpine frame will be very similar in this regard, although the brand has not yet commented on these issues.
