50 CV of power for just 100 kilos of weight

About a year ago we met Tony Möckel’s first job, a young two -wheeled lover coach and especially his Simson S 51 B. Then, fulfilling one of his childhood dreams, he created the “Orange Monster”, A 32 hp cucumber of power for only 80 kg of weight. To be able to achieve it, it embarked on an arduous process of modification at all levels.

Not conforming to this, in recent days he has surprised us again with his new creation, once again opting for a Simson S 51 for this ambitious project. To tell the truth, little or nothing remains of this, although we can only take off our hat with the apotheosic result that Möckel has baptized with the nickname of “Holy Bastard.”

Simson S 51 “Holy Bastard” in detail

As Motorrad Online’s partners detail, Möckel has dedicated his latest customization work to the unforgettable acrobatics pilot Ken Block. The Hoonigan logo or number 43 adhered to the sides of the deposit of their “Holy Bastard” given that they have given it. But beyond purely personal aspects, this Simson S 51 is splendid by all those that have to do with the technical and mechanical part that compose it.

To start, your 2T engine now equipped with a Rotax cylinder type DD2 of 125. The part of the crankcase, as well as the side covers, have been manufactured by CNC. On the other hand, the cooling is now in charge of two independent radiators who work together with a water pump from a VW Transport T6. For food, 38 mm smartcarb carburetor has been chosen, while the artisanal exhaust system has overlapping side exits.

Everything indicates that this Simson S 51 “Holy Bastard” must be around 50 CV of powerfor a peak speed of some 150 km/h. All this is managed by means of a gearbox of 5 relationships, it is in charge of sending the horsuid available to the posterior wheel using a Gates dentanc transmission system.

As for the cycle part we find a Simson GP chassis, endowed with extra reinforcements. This is suspended on a WP front inverted fork and a YSS side shock absorber couple. The braking now has no less than three type discs Wave 320 mm, two in the striker and one in the posterior. These are operated by radial anchor brembing tweezers.

The barely 100 kilograms that declares in the order of march the Simson S 51 “Holy Bastard” adhere to the road excellent thanks to the mount of a team of continental tires Race Attack 2 Street, with measures 90/90-17 in front and 110/70-17 behind. Radial tires look a “polished image” well in line with the aesthetics of the motorcycle.

About the latter, some key details, truly striking. For example, its fluorescent and black yellow scheme or a recarus -supported artisanal seat on a carbon fiber base. Also the fuel tank manufactured under commissioned by Fred Flitzefluss and Alulöffel, or the front mask with double optics overcome with LED lighting, tailored to this project.
