Representatives of motorcycle brands, accessories, journalists, travelers and all types of professionals and fans who love motorcycles and tourism attended the presentation of the trophies to the 12 categories of the MotoTurismo Awards 2026.
The event, brilliantly presented by Alexia Cué and Iñaki Cano, entertained and moved, making those present and the spectators who followed the ceremony on the Internet enjoy and laugh, broadcast live on Clickradiotv for more than an hour.
MotoTurismo Awards 2026: A gala full of surprises
Especially emotional were the tribute to the friends who went this year to ride in the sky, the presentation of the Honor Award to Luis Miguel Ballesteros “the mute of Alcalá”, and the special recognition to Valentín Requena, the voice of motorcycles. Valentín, who could not be present on this occasion, connected by videoconference, after the screening of the Innocentada with Ángel Nieto that was made and broadcast by TVE in 1986.
A historical and exceptional piece, which, as only happens with great jokes, makes you laugh no matter how many times you see it. The winners voted by the multidisciplinary jury of the 2026 MotoTurismo Awards were:

- Brand initiative: Ruralka-BMW Traveler’s Cradle
- Solidarity initiative: Kilometers Solidarity
- Hospitality and catering: Restaurants
- Innovation: Aspar Air Airbag Vest
- Communication: Motorcycle Magazine
- Featured trip: Santiago García. FIM Mototourism Champion 2025
- Honor Award: Luis Miguel Ballesteros. “The mute”
As usual, the 2026 MotoTurismo Awards have also focused on the most outstanding motorcycles for traveling, with three categories differentiated by displacement and voted by a jury made up of 50 journalists and specialized communicators.
Three very different proposals from each other, but with the same objective: to offer real solutions for those who understand the motorcycle as a tool for traveling. The models chosen in this edition have been:
- Access category up to 650 cc: Voge 625 DSX
- Medium category from 651 to 999 cc: Honda XL 750 Transalp
- Maxi category over 1000 cc: BMW R 1300 RT
The Mototourism Awards are consolidated each edition as references of prestige and recognition by the public, fans and professionals for brands, travelers and motorcycle tourism in its broadest extent. A meeting point where different ways of experiencing the motorcycle coincide, but always with the journey as the common thread.
