Keeway’s electric scooter combines futuristic design and a lot of technology

It’s been a little over a year and a half since EZIthe electric vehicle firm founded by Keeway Group in 2020, will show its model for the first time Hypevolt on the occasion of the celebration of EICMA 2024. Now everything indicates that the brand is ready for its launch in one of the markets where it has a presence.

The idea is to be able to offer a model that has a sophisticated design, cutting-edge technology and powerful performance. Thus “Hypevolt is positioned as a versatile and ecological solution to explore the city streets” as the brand itself explains. To achieve this, it uses the latest advances in the sector, including ADAS system, rear camera, 2 power variants.

EZI Hypevolt in detail

Just a few weeks ago EZI took part in the annual “China Cycle 2026” exhibition. The Asian brand showed up to 10 self-developed models that cover various uses within the two-wheeled sector, including urban travel, off-road driving and more recreational use oriented to the road. Among these new features was the Hypevolt, which will be marketed in V1 and V2 variants.

In both we have a lithium ion battery of 72 volts and 35 Ah (two units in the V2), with a capacity of approximately 2.52 kWh. This is associated with two 3,000 W and 6,000 W motors respectively. The one with less power is a hub type, while for the more performance version a centrally integrated system has been chosen.

In this way the brand declares maximum speeds of 80 and 115 km/h. The autonomy also varies, passing from 65 km in the access version to 140 kilometers in its most equipped variant. Some figures that, in the words of EZI, make “Make the Hypevolt ideal for daily commuting and short recreational rides without needing to recharge frequently.”

As for its cycle part, the EZI Hypevolt has everything necessary to make it an efficient daily route companion: front telehydraulic fork, double rear lateral shock absorber and a brake disc per axle are some of the main elements that make up this section. The assembly rests on 14” alloy wheels shod with 110/80 tires at the front and 120/70 at the rear.

The curb weight is 124kg for version V1 and 150 kg for V2 version with a wheelbase of 1,454 mm and the driver’s seat positioned just 770 mm from the ground. All this with maximum final dimensions of 2,046 mm x 750 mm 1,120 mm, when we talk about total length, width and height.

The set is completed with a good level of equipment where we can highlight the Full-LED lighting, 5-inch TFT screen, traction control, hill descent control, hill start assistant, reversing camera, adaptive cruise control and USB port. It also includes ADAS, dual-channel ABS, navigation system, storage space under the seat for a full-face helmet and even a specific APP from which you can control its main parameters.

For now, according to the Indian media Rush Lane, the EZI Hypevolt will be officially launched in that market next Junethat is, in just a few days. It is not clear if the model (along with the rest of the brand’s range) will be offered within our borders and if so, what exact moment will this occur.
