When the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2026 returns to Europe at the end of summer 2026, the participating teams will face an environment that will test their driving skills, precision and ability to adapt, and to do so they will have the best possible tool within the German brand: the BMW R 12 G/S GS Trophy Competition Bike.
Designed exclusively for this competition, which has been held since 2008, this motorcycle is based on the standard BMW R 12 G/S and is fully equipped to face any off-road adventure thanks to a careful selection of specific accessories from the German brand. Teams participating in the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2026 will encounter Romania’s spectacular natural landscapes, rugged terrain and deeply rooted culture. The impressive diversity of its settings is the perfect setting for authentic off-road adventures: mountains, forests, rivers and towns where time seems to have stopped.
They will be able to enjoy all of this without worries, beyond that of driving, at the controls of this BMW R 12 G/S prepared to the “teeth”. The equipment of this exclusive mount includes, among other elements:
- Comfort package: consisting of hill start control, gear shift assistant Pro, heated grips and cruise control
- Headlight Pro System: with adaptive cornering lighting
- Pro driving modes
- Enduro Pro package, which adds off-road-oriented tires, an 18-inch rear wheel and handlebar risers
The equipment is completed with engine protection bars, cylinder head protectors, a Rally fairing, navigator preparation, an Akrapovič silencer and a five-liter tank bag that can also be used as a rear bag, thus configuring a specification especially designed for off-road use of the BMW R 12 G/S GS Trophy Competition Bike.
