Fermín Aldeguer extends his sporting relationship with Ducati Corse until 2028

It was an open secret within the MotoGP Paddock but it has now become a recent agreement between Fermin Aldeguer and Ducati Corsefor which the Spanish driver will continue to be linked to the brand until at least the end of the 2028 season. He will do it by competing with Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Teama reference structure within the Ducati family in MotoGP.

There is no doubt that during his first two seasons in the premier category, the Spanish rider has demonstrated his talent and speed, confirming all his potential as one of the most outstanding young promises of international motorcycling. For this reason, Ducati has decided to reinforce its commitment to Aldeguer, placing it at the center of its long-term sports strategy.

This renewal confirms Ducati’s confidence in the qualities of the Spanish rider and in his growth possibilities, with the aim of making him one of the protagonists of the future of MotoGP. Claudio DomenicaliCEO of Ducati, commented after the announcement: “Fermín represents very well the way in which Ducati looks to the future of competition: believing in young talents and helping them grow so that they can fully express their potential. It is a philosophy that over the years has given us great satisfaction and in which we firmly believe.”

As confirmed by Gigi Dall’Igna, General Director of Ducati Corse, Aldeguer, since his arrival in MotoGP, has shown to have extraordinary talent, a great capacity for learning and a determination that “We were immediately impressed.” After the confirmation of the signing by the brand, he commented on the agreement:

As for Ducati Corse, with this renewal, it affirms its full commitment to the development of young talents “and with the construction of a solid and competitive sports project, thus laying the foundations to continue being a protagonist in MotoGP in the coming years.” Among them is of course the recently renewed Fermín Aldeguer, as well as the members of the official team for 2027: Marc Márquez and Pedro Acosta.
