The wait is over: those passionate about the model born from the collaboration between Aston Martin and Brough Superior, the AMB 001, now have a registrationable evolution: the new AMB 002 Roadster. With it, in the words of its own creators, it seeks “expand the range of products and consolidate the collaboration between these two iconic high-performance brands.”
AMB 002 Roadster: “born to enjoy the road to the fullest”
Under this motto Aston Martin and Brough Superior are back at it with a new special and limited series of a truly unique motorcycle. The new AMB 002 Roadster combines design, innovation, craftsmanship and exclusivity, something that is evident after the confirmation that its production is strictly limited to 300 units. After the announcement Marek Reichmanexecutive vice president and creative director of Aston Martin, said:

“Having created two of the most extraordinary track motorcycles ever built, the AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, it was always a dream of ours to build an Aston Martin road motorcycle. It combines the bold design aesthetics and pioneering engineering innovation that define Aston Martin and Brough Superior’s work to date.”
Concludes: “The AMB 002 is the living expression of our shared passion for sculptural, visceral and sought-after machines. It promises a unique ownership and riding experience in the world of motorcycling; an irresistible road bike for both enthusiast riders and the most discerning collectors.”

A wait that has been worth it
It was at the end of 2019 when we learned that Brough Superior was teaming up with Aston Martin to create a limited edition motorcycle. Just a few months later they revealed the fruit of that union: the AMB 001 2020. Only 100 copies at a rate of just over 100,000 euros eachwas their letter of introduction to the expectant eyes of those lovers of luxury and exclusivity with the financial capacity to be able to get one of them.
Then came the AMB 001 Pro, with only 88 units manufactured for the whole worldraising the bar even higher at all levels. Like the initial series of the model, its qualities could only be enjoyed on a track. Now, after years of waiting, this famous collaboration surprises the world with its new AMB 002 Roadster. A motorcycle that essentially “follows in the footsteps of the sensational AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro superbikes, exclusive for the circuit, presented in 2019 and 2022, respectively”say its creators.

AMB 002 Roadster: radical exploration of design and engineering
The new AMB 002 Roadster keeps the original philosophy of its sisters intact. All the details that make up its silhouette, technical part and finishes focus on offering the “expression of the pure and minimalist essence of a rider-focused sports bike”. To achieve this, the AMB 002 uses fluid lines, compact proportions and sculpted carbon fiber body elements. It also highlights its unique forward-leaning kinetic style, while revealing its mechanical intricacies.
In terms of design there are details that make the difference: the pebble-smooth shape of the carbon fiber fuel tank and the side fairings, which rise to meet the rider when he is out of the slipstream, are part of them. Also the crescent-shaped gills are inserted into the flanks to aid engine cooling and aerodynamic airflow, or the wire-design brackets for the low-rise mirrors, reflect the lightweight construction of the AMB 002.

Likewise, the side deflector has been reinvented, passing through the side fairing and extending forward to wrap around the headlight. The dual oval exhausts feature grooved heatsinks reminiscent of the exhaust trim design of the Vanquish, DB12 S and DBX S. All this without overlooking the set of taillights similar in design to those seen on the Aston Martin Vulcan hypercars. Completing this section is the backlit power button and handmade leather seat pads.
A technique that exudes craftsmanship
At the heart of the new AMB 002 beats a new engine 1,083 cc water-cooled four-stroke V-twin that develops 130 HP and 110 Nm of torque. Assembled in-house at Brough Superior’s headquarters in Toulouse, France, the AMB 002 engine features crankcases CNC machined from solid blocks, optimized for weight reduction and structural efficiency.

The block is housed in an extraordinary titanium chassis developed using the same manufacturing technique as the propeller. This forms a structural backbone and declares a weight of only 5 kg being key for a perfect 50:50 weight distribution. With an exceptionally low center of gravity, the AMB 002’s centralized mass generates an immediate feeling of balance and agility. This is helped by a declared weight of just 190kg.
Another exclusive Brough Superior solution, perfected and applied to the AMB 002, is the distinctive front suspension of “Fior” double fork. Avoiding the limitations of conventional telescopic forks, the Fior design separates steering and braking forces, maintaining precise control of front-end geometry. The well-known antidive of the Fior system also provides extra stability when braking, especially when braking inclined in a curve.

Availability
Although the official price of the first registered motorcycle resulting from this collaboration has not been revealed, the first orders for the AMB 002 are already being accepted. “A hand-made and strictly limited edition model, whose deliveries will begin in the third quarter of 2027”they conclude from the brand.
