Where to see Superbike Estoril 2026, schedules and more info

This weekend the Estoril Autodrome will host the penultimate event of a season, in which Ducati’s dominance has been overwhelming. Whether in the hands of Bulega or, as happened in Cremona, in the hands of Lecuona, the Ducati Panigale V4 of the official team has dominated each and every one of the races held so far.

The rest of the drivers on the grid have usually had to settle for fighting for the third step on the podium, and this fight has also been monopolized by most of the races by the private Panigale with the exceptions, before Oliveira’s injury, BMW and the few podiums that Bimota has been able to achieve this year.

That is why it is not surprising that there has already been a constructor and team champion for several rounds and that we arrive at Estoril still with 6 races to go but the title already decided. What’s more, not only does Bulega arrive as champion, the mathematics also grants runner-up status to Lecuona, who has a 200-point advantage over Montella when there are only 124 left in play.

The fight will be precisely between Montella, who has the possibility of adjusting his advantage, and the Lowes brothers for third position overall. Alex with the Bimota is the one who could bother Montella the most, but even so everything is quite defined. Of course, in Estoril, in the second home race for Miguel Ángel Oliveira, the Portuguese could once again offer a great version while leaving behind the consequences of his last accident.

The good thing is that this time it seems that the WSBK riders will have good weather during the three days, something that is not so common on such a peculiar track.

Details of the Estoril Circuit

Estoril is one of the classic routes of the championship

The Estoril Circuit maintains much of the charm it has always had, although the passage of time is noticeable in facilities that have become somewhat aged and are no longer up to current standards. But the track is still old school, a special layout and one of those circuits where you can enjoy both on and off the track.

The main straight and its final braking are one of the clearest points to try to overtake, but also an area where a small mistake can be expensive. Then come turns three and four, two points where it is also possible to attack and, above all, begin to prepare a maneuver that can end in turn six after going through turn five that is practically flat out.

The final part of the circuit also concentrates some of its most recognizable areas. The chicane at turns nine and ten is slow, technical and offers another good overtaking opportunity, although success is not guaranteed. The last corner, turn thirteen, is another key point both to try to pass directly and to get out in a good position and prepare to overtake before the finish line in a tight finish.

Added to all this is a factor that is always important in Estoril: the wind, which can change sensations and references and forces you to keep it in mind throughout the weekend.

Where to watch Superbike Estoril 2026

The most intense fights are this season in the middle of the table

As has already happened in Aragón and will happen again in Jerez, the proximity will allow the luckiest to enjoy the races directly from the circuit. For those who follow them from home there will also be several alternatives and, in addition, some of them will be completely free.

The most complete option will once again be DAZN, where it will be enough to have a registered account to access the entire broadcast without the need for a paid subscription. The platform will offer free training, classifications and races.

It can also be followed for free through Teledeporte, both on the television channel and through RTVE Play, a particularly useful alternative to watch the races from any device. Among the payment options will be Eurosport 1 and 2, in addition to the MAX application. And for those who want to follow the championship in detail, the official WSBK Videopass will also continue to be available, with access to all sessions and additional content.
