KYMCO X-Town S350 2027: new urban scooter with 321 cc engine and 7-inch TFT screen
KYMCO has taken advantage of the Milan International Motorcycle Show EICMA 2026 to present a second novelty in its scooter catalog: the X-Town S350. Compared to the adventurous approach of the CV-X45, this model opts for a more urban philosophy, with a configuration designed to facilitate daily trips and offer a good level of comfort both in the city and on interurban routes.
The new X-Town S350 introduces a new frame and dimensions that seek to enhance its manageability. Its 1,500 mm wheelbase is one of the most notable features of its technical specifications, while the equipment includes large-format TFT instrumentation, adjustable screen, USB-C connections and electronic aids such as ABS and traction control. KYMCO has not yet announced its marketing date or price for the European market.
Engine
The KYMCO X-Town S350 is equipped with a 321 cc, four-stroke single-cylinder engine, with OHC distribution and four valves. It has liquid cooling and electronic injection, a common configuration in scooters in this category that seeks to combine sufficient performance to leave the city with adequate operation for urban traffic.
Regarding its performance figures, it develops a maximum power of 20.5 kW at 7,500 rpm, equivalent to about 27.9 HP, while the maximum torque reaches 30.8 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Features that allow it to be placed within the category of medium-displacement scooters, with the capacity to handle daily trips and journeys on expressways.
The engine is associated with an automatic transmission, although KYMCO has not provided more details about its configuration or possible differences compared to other engines in its catalog. The announced approval is Euro 5+, so it meets the current emissions requirements for this type of vehicle.
Chassis, suspensions and brakes
One of the most relevant changes to the new X-Town S350 is in its structure. KYMCO has developed a completely new frame for this model, accompanied by a wheelbase of 1,500 mm. This size, relatively contained for a scooter in its category, seeks to promote agility and facilitate maneuvers in urban spaces.
The front suspension uses an inverted fork, while at the rear we find two shock absorbers with preload adjustment in five positions. KYMCO also highlights the distance of both trains, with 100 mm at the front and 108 mm at the rear, figures aimed at improving the absorption capacity on uneven surfaces and offering greater comfort during daily trips.
The braking section is made up of a 260 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc. Both work together with an ABS system and TCS traction control, two electronic aids that help improve safety when grip conditions are not ideal.
The aluminum alloy wheels have a diameter of 15 inches at the front and 14 inches at the rear, with tires measuring 120/70-15 and 140/70-14, respectively.
Regarding its overall dimensions, the X-Town S350 measures 2,145 mm long, 795 mm wide and 1,420 mm high. Its seat height is 800 mm and it claims a curb weight of 187 kg. The fuel tank has a capacity of 13 liters.
Technology and equipment
The technological equipment is one of the highlights of this new generation of the X-Town. KYMCO incorporates a 7-inch TFT screen that acts as the central element of the instrumentation and provides a more modern image to the whole.
Added to this is an adjustable front screen, a particularly interesting element to adapt the aerodynamic protection to the driver’s preferences and traffic conditions. It also has two USB type C sockets, designed to facilitate charging electronic devices while on the go.
In terms of safety, the model incorporates ABS and TCS traction control as standard, two systems that allow greater control over braking and driving. Added to this is the work carried out on the suspensions, with generous travel to better absorb the usual irregularities of the urban environment.
The set aims to offer a practical, comfortable and technological user experience, maintaining contained dimensions that facilitate daily mobility.
Colors and options
Aesthetically, the KYMCO X-Town S350 maintains the approach of a GT-oriented scooter, with a body of generous dimensions and an upright driving position. Its new 7-inch TFT screen and adjustable screen contribute to modernizing its image, while the new frame forms the basis of this update.
For now, KYMCO has not detailed the available colors, the different commercial finishes or the possible customization options. A specific catalog of accessories for this model has not been communicated either.
Price and availability
The new KYMCO X-Town S350 has been presented at EICMA 2026 as one of the main urban novelties of the Taiwanese brand. However, unlike the CV-X45, which is already scheduled to arrive in the second quarter of 2027, the manufacturer has not yet announced a marketing date for this scooter.
Nor has its official price been communicated for Spain or other European markets. We will have to wait for future communications from KYMCO to find out all the details of its launch and its commercial positioning within the range of medium-displacement scooters.
