Benda continues to bet on V-shaped engines, specifically a V4 layout. At least as far as its custom models are concerned, with the arrival, among others, of this Dark Flag 600. A frame that also has some technological boasts initially reserved for “more renowned” ranges. Electronic clutch and an air suspension system would be among them.
Benda Dark Flag 600 V-4 2026 in detail
As already happened in the 2024 season with the Dark Flag 500, this new 600 variant brings us closer to the custom concept wrapped in a cloak of innovation and technology so characteristic of the Chinese firm’s frames. But let no one be fooled, although a priori it seems that we are facing a simple increase in displacement, nothing could be further from the truth.
As detailed from Cycle World, referring to the mechanical section, “It is a substantially different design, with new crankcases, cylinders and heads”. These changes increase the final power from the initial 54 HP of the half-liter version to 74 hp of this Dark Flag 600. The brand also declares a maximum torque of 55 Nm at 8,000 rpm.
In any case, beyond the cold performance figures, the new model becomes the first in the saga to offer a version equipped with an electronic clutch and a pneumatic suspension system. Regarding the first item of equipment, this debuted with the launch of the new Rock 707 last summer of 2025. Its operation is based on two electric motors that work in unison with the ignition and fuel injection, achieving a precise and smooth gear change.
Regarding the air suspension, it made its first appearance within the Benda model range with the launch of the radical LFC700 PRO. Subsequently, it has also been part of the standard equipment of the aforementioned Rock 707 with an electronic clutch and now the brand does the same with this new Dark Flag 600. Other notable characteristics of the latter, regardless of the equipment version, would be:
- Dual color TFT instrumentation (one of them integrated into the fuel tank)
- Dual channel ABS
- TCS traction control
- Electronic throttle, etc.
For the cycle part, Benda has opted, as is usually the case in almost all custom models, for a complete and extensive portfolio of accessories where elements such as braking designed by J. Juan stand out, with double front disc, front telehydraulic fork and a pair of rear lateral shock absorbers, which in the case of the standard variant, would be conventional.
The first data on this Dark Flag 600 V-4 speak of a dry weight of 240 kilospractically the same information as stated by its older sister the Dark Flag 950. At the moment there is no news that the model, in any of its versions, will be offered in European markets.
In our country the brand already sells the Dark Flag 500 for just under 9,000 euros. If it reaches the Spanish Benda dealers, this new Dark Flag 600 could have an initial price of less than 10,000 euros, although that is something that we can only assume at the moment.
