Maquina Motors recently launched the initiative #HiddenMachine. A challenge that turns your Black Friday campaign into a real urban search. The company, a leader in the two-wheeled sector in Spain, has hidden a scooter in Barcelona and the first person to find it will get it completely free. For two weeks, the Barcelona brand will launch a series of tracks through all its communication channels.

#HiddenMachine Challenge in detail

The activation began with the publication of a video that simulated the theft of a motorcycle from one of the brand’s dealerships. The images, recorded with security camera aesthetics, showed an alleged thief inspecting several motorcycles and opening the blind to leave with a scooter. At the end of the video, Maquina Motors revealed that it was not a real robbery, but rather the creative preamble to the #MaquinaEscondida campaign.

The clues have already started to be published, but the scooter will not be physically hidden until the last week of November. Specifically, the first week will serve to accumulate clues and decipher the final location, while the second week the motorcycle will be hidden permanently until someone finds it.

Until next November 28, Maquina Motors will share daily clues, mainly on Instagram, although some will be revealed by surprise on other channels such as the web, TikTok or through collaborations with content creators.

How to participate in the #MaquinaEscondida challenge
