Aprilia is not living an easy situation in the 2025 season. After 2024 in which, Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales, managed to defend with good results the interests of the Noale brand, this year in which they expected to go one step further with the arrival of Martín and Bezzecchi. But the reality is that the results do not arrive, with a Martin injured from the beginning and Bezzecchi away from the head group.
The situation has caused the rumor to start circulating that Martín could leave Aprilia before the end of his contract. And taking advantage of the GP of Great Britain, Aprilia has issued a statement in which its intentions and opinions are very clear about what is happening. With a brief statement, they reaffirm that the contract between Aprilia and Jorge Martín is valid, is in force, and must be respected by both parties until its expiration.
In the same way, Aprilia Racing denies that negotiations have been carried out to modify the duration of the contract. In turn, he asks the rest of the equipment to refrain from making any supply to pilots who have a current contract. In the same way, they confirm that they continue to support Jorge in his recovery, and that they hope to see him soon at the controls of the RS-GP.
A new chapter of a script that seems more and more tense and in which, at least for now, Jorge Martín has not spoken about a situation that has moved between scenes and in which no one is going to win. And once the loving one is wisdom, the situation is never ideal again.

“The contract between Aprilia Racing and Jorge Martín is valid and is in force, and as such, it must be respected by both parties until its expiration (late 2026). April Racing has fulfilled it in its entirety, within the agreed deadlines and terms, and will continue to do so in the future.
Aprilia Racing denies that negotiations between the parties have been carried out to modify the duration of the contract, which remains as originally agreed. The team will not comment on issues that do not concern it directly, but expects other teams to refrain from making any type of supply to pilots who have a current contract. Such behavior, in any case, would not be legitimate.
The whole team will continue to support Jorge during his recovery process, as he has always done, and hopes to see him soon on track with the RS-GP. ”
