Last June we learned the first details of the new Leoncino Bobber 400, “a very fierce custom for the A2”. Even then it surprised us with some of the details that make up its general structure, such as making use of a V2 engine at 60º. Now, thanks to our colleagues at MCN, we have learned about the most relevant aspects of the Italian firm’s new model, which we will now reveal to you in detail.
Benelli Leoncino Bobber 400 2025: Clear Harley inspiration
Without a doubt the image of the new Leoncino Bobber 400 It reminds us de facto of some of the Harley-Davidson mounts. Details such as the air inlet located on the right side of the motorcycle de facto confirm this theory. Beyond the stylistic resources that Benelli has decided to use in its new model, the fact of launching a new engine stands out. 386.5 cc 60º V-twin.
With internal dimensions of 60 mm x 68 mm in terms of diameter and stroke, it is approved in accordance with the current Euro5+ and is capable of offering maximum power in the order of 25 HP at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of torque at just 4,500 revolutions, brought everything to the rear wheel through a transmission system controlled by a belt.
As for the cycle part, we find a double cradle steel tubular chassis as its central element. The rear swingarm is made up of a double arm made of this same material. The assembly rests on a 35 mm inverted front fork and a pair of rear lateral shock absorbers with 100 and 125 mm of travel respectively. For its part, braking falls on separate brake discs, one per axle.
Other details that we can highlight in the dynamic part are, for example, the use of 16” alloy wheels shod with tires measuring 130/90-16 on the front and 150/80-16 on the rear wheel. The brand declares a curb weight of 180 kilograms, including the 15 liters of fuel that its tank can hold, with a seat height of only 730mm. This makes the new Leoncino Bobber 400 a manageable motorcycle and suitable for riders of almost any size.
It is not clear when the new Leoncino Bobber 400 could reach European dealers. Nor is the final price to pay for it, although this It should be around 5,000 eurosin line with some of its most direct rivals such as the new Macbor Rockster 410, a mount that stands out for its bobber design as well as complete equipment and cutting-edge technology.
