CFMOTO continues to grow as a brand, and it does so not only with the continuous arrival of new models to its catalog, but also through associations with leading companies in the motor world such as Brembo. One of the latest to be confirmed is its recent joint venture in India, to manufacture motorcycle ABS, with the local company Ningbo SAFE. Now the motorcycle manufacturer and the Italian braking system specialist have reached an agreement that will raise the level of future motorcycles.
The collaboration between both companies goes further than a simple supplier relationship. The agreement between CFMOTO and Brembo will serve to work together on braking solutions for medium and high displacement motorcycles. Thanks to the common goal of the two groups to achieve more advanced products with a higher level of performance, cooperation will be carried out that will also cover technological innovation, competition and brand development.
CFMOTO and Brembo reinforce their global positioning
After the conversations that took place at CFMOTO’s corporate headquarters in Hangzhou, the necessary understanding was reached to begin an international alliance that will have global reach, and in which the same work philosophy is shared. And both CFMOTO and Brembo develop high-level technology, putting the utmost care in engineering designs.
At the same time, they have strict quality control that ends up resulting in a range of products that enjoy great performance and reliability. Another point that both companies share is their firm conviction that the sport is an excellent testing ground, as demonstrated by the fact that CFMOTO has won the Moto3 World Championship, in addition to achieving significant results, including victories in Moto2, while Brembo is the supplier of the entire MotoGP grid.
In search of technological excellence
For this reason, CFMOTO and Brembo are going to work together in the conceptual design of the braking system from the first R&D phases to its integration into the models. In this way, the components will be able to adapt perfectly to the needs of each platform, offering the most balanced combination of security, control and performance.
This alliance also includes the incorporation of Brembo as a strategic partner of the CFMOTO Talent Project, which supports the development of young riders by the Chinese brand and in which the Italian component manufacturer can also contribute all the knowledge acquired in the more than half a century that has led it to become a technological reference within the world of motorsport.
