Starting from scratch and creating the most beast scooter we remember from recent times. That process is the one that will give life to the Dieselpunk, the most wild scooter of those we have seen in recent times, and that has been created from a V4 engine that, by the way, has CVT transmission so as not to have to take care of gear changes.
That V4 is the starting point since Saint Peter’s Build have begun to shape the entire project. A daring, different and that at first glance already raises quite a few doubts. And although it is still in the process of creation, this time we have been able to see the plans and the rendered designs and there are some doubts that assail us.
And although we are talking about a scooter, Dieselpunk is not a scooter to use and we do not say it for the V4 engine but because of the configuration that the scooter has. From a fast look you can see how the aforementioned propeller goes in the front, as if it were a car engine, and then “comes” the rest of the motorcycle.
Because of its configuration, Dieselpunk is going to be a complicated driving scooter
We do not know the dimensions, but it can be seen that the wheelbase is very long in proportion to the height, and that the mass distribution will be highly dysfunctional. Although the design is daring and also in your own project you do what you estimate timely, what we can glimpse is that the day that punk diesel goes out to shoot, it will not be an easy motorcycle to drive and that it will tend not to enter the curves.
After all, a car with a lot of weight in front of you will generate a subviring that will always want to go straight ahead, and to rotate you will have to lower the speed. But if we talk about this on a motorcycle, the most foreseeable consequence is that when you start to bow and the tire surface is the youngest will simply lose adhesion and end on the ground.
But we are not going to be birds of bad omen, because the project is in its early stages, it starts from zero and that includes even shaping the panels, escapes, chassis … and simply for daring we already wish you all the best.
Now we only have to expect the punk diesel project to continue moving forward, the friends of Saint Peter’s Build continue to record it to show it, and be able to turn this crazy project into a manageable scooter even though it is crazy.
