Ducati has recently surprised the whole world with the launch of a new episode of his well -known Ducati World Premère, who warns of the arrival of a XDIAVEL V4?… Well, the latter is something that we still cannot assure, since it will be on February 13 when the Italian brand finally reveals what model it is.
For now, we have only made us participate in a sky full of clouds, rays and lightning next to the motto that seems to accompany his last first: “The real power belongs to those who rise to face it.” Together with this enigmatic advertising slogan, the Italian brand sent to some international media a message about the next launch detailing that its new mount:
“Combine a bold and unmistakable personality with Ducati’s performance and technology, to redefine the limits of the segment.”
This message was headed by the title of the episode itself: “Feet forward. HEAD TURNING “ (Foot forward. Touring our heads), as confirmed by Visor Down. Perhaps this last detail is what has led us to think of an XDiavel V4 as the protagonist of this worldwide first. Among other things because the previous XDIAVEL was discontinued in 2023 and we can only get the special edition NERA equipped with the Testastretta dvt 1262 of 1,262 cc.
DUCATI XDIAVEL V4: What can we expect
As we all know, the XDIAVEL has a series of technical characteristics, of finishing and equipment that distinguishes her from her sister, the “dry” diavel. Among them, a greater wheelbase, final transmission by belt or a typical driving position of a custom and not a naked, as is the case of the current V4 Diavel. If it became materialized, this possible Xdiavel V4 would equip the excellent propeller released by this range in the 2023 season.
We speak, of course, of the Granturismo engine of 1,158 CC seasoned with the latest technological advances in the market. This is associated with a 6 -speed change equipped with the well -known Ducati Quick Shift system and has, among others, with technical aspects such as a counter -priest crankshaft or extended deactivation system. The brand declares 168 hp at 10,750 rpm of power and 126 nm of maximum torque at 7,500 rpm.
Beyond the possibility that an XDiavel V4 is the next Ducati model, other possibilities are also considered from some international media. For example, a special editing model and even an electric inspired by Ducati’s motorcycle. Finally, and as a curious fact about this unknown, there is the fact that the URL that appears in the steering bar of the page that Ducati has enabled to receive updates on the subject ends in “…/V22o/Light”.
As explained by Motorcycle: “Ducati tends to use a four -digit alphanumeric code for each of its new products, and” V22O “fits the pattern. Immediately, we see that it is similar to the “V21L” code of the electric racing model, but the only conclusion that we must take is that the Motooe project began before the V22O. ”
It seems that it is time to wait for February 13 to be able to clarify all these doubts about the possible XDIAVEL V4.
