The 2026 edition of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy is ready to get underway. Two weeks of excitement and risk lie ahead in what is, without a doubt, the most complex and dangerous circuit in the world. A total of 60 kilometers and 718 meters with 219 curves and an average speed that has not stopped growing since 1904 until reaching almost 220 kilometers per hour.
Once again we will have illustrious drivers on the grid, with special mention to Michael Dunlop who will seek to continue increasing his record. And, currently, Michael is the driver in history who has won the most in the Tourist Trophy. But also Peter Hickman, John McGuinnes and Dean Harrison, among others, will once again ride on the Isle of Man track from free practice to the races.
Starting on Monday, May 25, the first qualifying sessions will take place on the first day, which will last practically the entire first week. It will not be until Saturday, May 30, when the time comes for the first race, the Superstock TT and Sidecar TT. Of course, before that, on Thursday the 28th, the first of the three days of rest will arrive.
The Superbike TT will take place on May 31, just before the second rest day. Tuesday and Wednesday will be the time for the first Supersport TT and Sportbike TT races and also for the second Sidecar TT and Superstock TT races.
The highlight comes with the last two days of competition, on Friday, June 5, as a prelude to the big race, we will have Supersport TT and Sportbike TT with the second races and on Sunday the icing on the cake, the Senior TT which, remember, last year was canceled after different attempts when it was considered unsafe.
So with this Tourist Trophy at the door we will always be left with the question: are we facing McGuinness’s last TT? Can Dunlop expand its legend? Will Hickman come closer? Will there be surprises? We will begin to clear up doubts starting Saturday, May 30.
