Motosoul 2025: A global festival
Motosoul 2025 is the fifth edition of India’s largest motorcycle festival, organized by TVS Motors. Maybe the name doesn’t sound familiar to you, but it is a global giant. The figures are dizzying.
It is India’s third largest manufacturer in sales and fourth worldwide. Their sales figures are measured in millions (to date they have sold 125 million motorcycles), rather than in thousands. Present in 90 countries, it aims to soon reach 120 countries, including Spain.
In addition to the TVS brand, it operates with other own brands, such as Apache in many countries, or manufactures for other brands, as is the case of BMW with the recently defunct BMW G 310 or the upcoming BMW F 450 GS at its Hosur plant. TVS has also just acquired the Norton firm, which tells us that in addition to size, TVS has new plans in other markets.
The arrival of the TVS in Spain is scheduled for the first half of 2026 with three models that will share displacement: the TVS Ronin, the RTR 310 and the RR 310. These are, respectively, an economical roadster with a classic cut, a sports naked and a faired sports car with semi-handlebars.
The Ronin will enter the fight for affordable everyday motorcycles, while the RTR 310 and RR 310 are more sophisticated motorcycles, with elements such as adjustable suspension, shift assistant or TFT screen with connectivity.
Getting to know the TVS 2026 range
In connection with the Motosoul festival, we were able to enjoy a route around Goa with the three motorcycles. Due to the particularities of India (they drive on the left), traffic density and state of the roads, together with the shortness of the route – 60 km in four hours -, we cannot talk about a product test, but rather about getting acquainted.
I was able to exchange the motorcycles with journalists of other nationalities and thus get an idea of what type of motorcycles debut in the 2026 TVS range in Spain, which I am sure will grow over time.
TVS Ronin
The Ronin is an economical roadster or naked. Its driving position is very relaxed, with the footpegs very forward and the posture upright. Although it avoids sophistications, it has a modern-looking LCD interface. Economy, comfort and robustness are its hallmarks, which I am sure will be combined with a groundbreaking price.
TVS RTR 310 and the RR 310
The RTR 310 and RR 310 share a chassis and engine, but the RR has half-handlebars and a decidedly sporty stance. The silhouette of the RTR 310 is aggressive and sharp, but its riding position is more orthodox and is perfectly suitable for everyday use. I couldn’t get the most out of their engines on the roads of Goa, but they did feel like they were sharper than the Ronin.
I also found the feel of the brakes better than on the Ronin. With a full color TFT screen, adjustable suspensions and shift assistant, they are more than up to date to fight in the battle of medium displacements that has been waged in our country recently.
TVS doesn’t just make motorcycles. He also revealed to us his new AR helmet (Aegis Rider), which incorporates data projection technology on the interior screen, linked to the motorcycle or mobile phone and of which we already gave you a preview recently here in these lines.
The total festival: Motosoul 2025
India is an infinite contrast of colors, flavors, smells, religions, landscapes, etc. This is reflected as soon as you enter Motosoul. Bikers from all parts of India meet here. If we take into account that the territory is huge and that India is currently made up of 1.5 billion people, you soon understand why TVS has 33 motorcycles in its catalog.
It is a brand that knows the different segments of the public, to the point that the vast majority of people who come to Motosoul do so on their motorcycle – regardless of the brand – from all over India.
If you want, at Motosoul you don’t stop for a minute. There are all kinds of activities. You can be part of them or attend as a spectator. Races of all kinds (dirt track, obstacles, slow race, mix of motocross and fitness, etc.), stunt exhibitions, Freestyle MX, the round cage, simulators, to which we must add the most classic fairground attractions, such as the strong hammer or the puching ball.
The one I liked the most, the painting of helmets, an original activity in which I became thoroughly involved, to the point that I am considering adopting my design on my other helmets. All this surrounded by countless food stalls and food trucks of all possible varieties, the vast majority of which are spicy.
And as could not be missing from a festival, music. Lots of music, and if you approached the main stage, at a delirious volume: luckily I always carry some earplugs on hand in my festival kit. DJs, singers, rappers, the variety throughout the two days is inexhaustible, yes, a national product, to which you end up surrendering, carried by the current. They have been a very intense and very happy couple of days in a very different culture, but close in terms of motorcycling.
Whether they are unbreakable motorcycles like the Ronin or more technological ones like the RTR 310 and RR 310, there is a lot to come and rest assured that it will be at a very competitive price. 2026 starts with good news.
