The Royal Marines Charity, a non -profit organization created to provide support to members in service and ex -women of the Naval Service and their families, is the precursor of the Solidarity Initiative “The Walk of the Brotherhood” (The Brotherhood Ride).

For six days, four former Marines of the body, next to a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, are responsible for touring the 2,670 kilometers that make up the route of this beneficial trip.

Royal Marines trying to raise awareness about mental health

As they detail from Visor Down, “The Walk of the Brotherhood” started last Sunday from the Lympstone command training center and will end in Plymouth. Over six days, former Marines Aldo Kane and Paul White will pilot the 650 interceptor, while their companions to the Mbe and Billy Perham chambers are responsible for accompanying them to the controls of a support vehicle.

During the tour, the members in charge of bringing this initiative visit each unit of the United Kingdom Royal Infantry. Its mission is to collect a letter signed by the commanding officer, as well as a commemorative plaque, objects that will be subsequently framed to be auctioned next to the 650 interceptor, baptized as “Bootneck II”.

The idea is to be able to raise a total amount of at least 80,000 pounds thanks to the motorcycle auction (ends on November 13), as well as the donations that will be carried out during the celebration of Guildhill’s dinner next November 20. This solidarity initiative is aligned in turn with the campaign “Raising the lid” of the RMA (beneficial organization of the Royal Marines), whose objective, as explained from the association, “It’s breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in the community of the Royal Marines.”

Aldo Kane comments: “It’s not just about raising funds. It’s about raising awareness. It’s about starting conversations that could save lives.”. “We want all Royal Marines to know that it is fine, not be well”he says to the chambers. “Ask for help does not make you weak. In fact, it could be the greatest strength you have ever done”. Next to the motorcycle, as described in the description of the auction, it is also delivered:
