like every year Triumph Coast 2 Coast does not disappoint its participants: this 2026, in its 9th edition, the well-known motorcycle tourism event was attended by 120 registrants, the same ones who enjoyed it for two days, between Benicàssim, San Pedro del Pinatar and Málaga, with an average of 1,178.7 kilometers traveleds, of motorcycling, strategy and a community marked by the heat.
Triumph Coast 2 Coast 2026: “sharing the road once again”
Part of the identity of Triumph’s Coast 2 Coast lies precisely in maintaining a contained dimension. Its particular format, without a predetermined route and with the teams circulating across a wide area of territory, means that places are limited to around 120 participants to preserve a careful and close experience.
During it, the organization and riders end up knowing each other by name and the stops en route and dinners at the end of each day become a fundamental part of the event. The formula seems to work. 60% of the 2026 participants were veteransmany of them present in all or almost all editions, while the remaining 40% faced the challenge for the first time.
Two days of pure motorcycling
Far from being a conventional route, the Coast 2 Coast proposes each year a starting point, a destination and a series of Travel Points (TP) that participants must identify from different clues. From there, each team decides which points to visit, in what order and on which roads to reach them, designing their own strategy and, with it, their own Coast 2 Coast.
The ninth edition started in Benicàssim, from where the participants headed to San Pedro del Pinatar during the first day before facing, the next day, the road to Málaga. Two stages in which secondary roads, curves and landscapes that surprised even the most experienced ended up becoming the main protagonists. In this context, the Atlantis Moto devices allowed the teams to be geolocated during the tour.
Many old acquaintances among those registered
The open nature of the Triumph Coast 2 Coast was also reflected in the origin of its participants. To the numerous registrants who came from Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante or Valencia, motorcyclists from León, Granada, Lérida, Zaragoza, A Coruña, Cantabria or Asturias were added, as well as several participants from the Canary Islands and Portugal.
Although it is an experience created by Triumph Spain mainly for its owners, the possibility of sharing it with friends who ride motorcycles from other brands is part of its essence. In 2026, more than half of the participating motorcycles were Triumphs, while around 20% corresponded to bmw and there was also the presence of Honda, Yamaha, Ducati and other brands.
Iberia Kaníbal wins an edition of many kilometers
The strategy once again made the difference in the final classification. Iberia Kaníbalwith five motorcycles, won the victory after adding 111 points, thanks to 24 Travel Points and two specials, ahead of Shackleton Dodos and Rebel Monkeys.
The final classification was like this:
- Iberia Kaníbal: 111 points (24 TP + 2 specials)
- Shackleton Dodos: 107 Points (23 TP + 2 Specials)
- Rebel Monkeys: 101 points (24 TP)
- Alapont: 81 points
- Benimoto: 76 points
The teams traveled an average of 1,178.7 kilometers during the two days, practically 590 kilometers per day. Cabuérnigos was the team that accumulated the greatest distance, with 1,513 km, followed by Iberia Kaníbal, with 1,401 km, and Guanaminos Team, with 1,378 km.
A formula that still works
The celebration of this ninth edition had the support of Dunlop, Peris Insurance Brokerage, Atlantis Moto and Triumph Performance Lubricantsmain sponsors of an event whose format once again focuses on enjoying the motorcycle, discovering new territories and sharing the experience with other fans.
Nine editions after its birth, the Triumph Coast 2 Coast maintains intact a formula in which there is no single correct route or single way to experience the trip. Each team chooses its roads, decides its strategy and ends up returning to the group with a different story to tell.
