The 2024 season will be remembered as a year of legendary success for Galfer Moto, thanks to the extraordinary victory of Ai Ogura in Moto2 and the triumph of Alessandro Lupino in the Italian Prestige MX1 Championship with Ducati. Japanese rider Ai Ogura, from the MT Helmets – MSI team, gave Galfer one of the most important moments in his motorcycling history, winning the Moto2 world title with an exceptional season that included 3 victories and 6 podiums.
This result returns Galfer Moto to the highest echelon of the category thanks to the components used by the Japanese rider such as the Floatech brake discs and the Racing G1310 sintered pads, developed specifically for high-performance speed racing.
In the FIM Jr. GP, 2024 brought new satisfactions for Galfer Moto. Álvaro Carpe won the prestigious Moto3 Junior title, while Roberto García and Carlos Cano dominated their categories, winning the European Moto2 Championship and the European Talent Cup, respectively. For his part, Alessandro Lupino wrote a page of history together with Galfer Moto in the 2024 season by winning the first Italian MX1 title at the controls of a Ducati Desmo450 MX equipped with Galfer’s Disc Wave disc brakes.
2024 was also a year full of successes in other Off-Road disciplines for the Spanish braking systems specialist. Galfer Moto took four world titles in Trial, thanks to Toni Bou (Montesa-Honda), who dominated in both X-Trial and TrialGP, adding two more titles to his already legendary record. Emma Bristow (Sherco Factory Team) shone in the women’s category, while Jack Peace (Sherco) triumphed in the Trial2 category, confirming the reliability and effectiveness of the Disc Wave and the Trial Top G1805 semi-metallic pads.
Galfer also triumphed in the Enduro World Championship, winning three world titles. Brad Freeman (Team Beta Factory) dominated the EnduroGP championship in the E3 category, Mireia Badía (Rieju) won the EnduroGP Women world title and Mitch Brightmore (TTR Squadra Corse) triumphed in Hard Enduro Junior.
All these successes were achieved thanks to the reliability and performance of the Galfer Disc Wave and Disc Shark discs, together with their sintered brake pads, which guaranteed maximum braking power and precision even on the most extreme terrain. In the Raids, the Indian Harith Noah (Sherco) won the Dakar Rally 2, demonstrating the durability of Galfer products in especially demanding competitions.
