Husqvarna has just introduced us to its new Norden 901 Expedition 2025. In this latest version we can find several technical improvements, which present an updated design, a greater number of equipment elements and improved comfort.
All this accompanied by its well-known parallel twin-cylinder engine and a top-level chassis where we can highlight the use of a 21″ front tire and its clear Offroad capabilities. In short, an adventure mount prepared for any demands placed on it, whether on or off the road.
Rivals of the Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition 2025
Any of the new trail bikes with a 21″ front tire seems like a rival to the Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition 2025. And although it stands out with a power of 105 HP, we can even include the Yamaha Ténéré 700 as one of its Possible contenders on the market:
Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition 2025 engine
The 2025 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition is powered by the same engine as the KTM 890 Adventure. It is a parallel twin cylinder 899ccliquid cooling, DOHC cylinder head with four valves per cylinder and a maximum power of 105 HP at 8,000 rpm. Maximum torque is 100 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
Additionally, the Norden 901 Expedition is equipped with a revised exhaust system to allow its engine to comply with EURO 5+ regulations. It has a cable-free throttle system, which allows you to have three driving modes (Street, Rain, Offroad) in addition to an optional Explorer mode. With 19 liters of tank, its range goes beyond 400 km.

The Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition 2025 has been developed with asphalt/track dual use in mind. In the cycle part, the engine acts as a self-supporting element in its tubular chassis made entirely of chrome-molybdenum steel, the company’s trademark, reducing the total weight and creating a more compact overall design.
To ensure that the toughest terrain can be mastered with confidence, the 2025 Norden 901 Expedition features WP XPLOR suspensionfully adjustable in terms of compression, rebound and preload, in addition to offering 240 mm travel on both axles. Thus we find a fully adjustable inverted fork with 48 mm bars, along with a rear monoshock that works on an aluminum swingarm.
For braking, the Swedish brand has relied on J. Juan with double 320 mm front brake discs bitten by four-piston radial calipers, as well as another 260 mm rear disc with two-piston floating caliper. In the wheels section, the Norden 901 Expedition 2025 makes its intentions clear with a 21″ front tire and an 18″ rear tire,
In both cases they are equipped with tires Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR in size 90/90 and 150/70 respectively.
