Mario Roman He achieved his first victory in the TT 4 Estaciones Cup with the CFMoto 450MT in the Navalosa race (Ávila), after reaching the podium in the Basella Race. As if that were not enough, he finished on the second step of the podium Joseph Lombardia with another CFMoto. A brilliant start that highlights the off-road qualities of the motorcycle, completely standard.
The Madrid rider, who has already participated with the 450MT in different Adventure Trail tests, is already showing the full potential of this machine from the first races. In this new discipline in which adventure motorcycles like the 450MT face complicated terrain more typical of enduro, Román is knowing how to get the most out of the Asian twin-cylinder.

Despite still being in a moment of adaptation, the results have already begun to arrive. So far Román has piloted the 450MT in two tests. The first was the Basella Race, where he reached the podium in one of the most emblematic enduro events in our country. But the best was yet to come because just a few days later, with the experience acquired and a little more preparation time, the first victory came.
The Spanish rider went to the Avila town of Navalosa to participate in the inaugural event of the TT 4 Seasons Cup within the Adventure Trail 450 category. After a classification on Saturday where an inopportune chain release caused him to lose 15 seconds, on Sunday he was waiting for the main course.
With a comeback as his objective and starting from 25th place, Mario Román began the climb, managing to recover positions already in the first lap. After the stop in the service area it was time to culminate an epic performance, climbing to first position and achieving victory. After this first contact with the 450MT, Román will continue preparing for the races that will come in the coming weeks.
After finishing the test Mario Román commented: “The race was very positive. On Saturday there is a 35 kilometer reconnaissance lap and then a timed test where you qualify for the starting grid. The route, if you haven’t gone the day before, is a surprise, but it went quite well, even avoiding a rock that was quite technical. In the end I qualified 25th because my chain came off and I lost 15 seconds that would have been vital.”
He continued explaining: “Even so, I was able to start on Sunday on the second row for the race and on the first lap I already overtook quite a few people. Afterwards we did the service with 10 neutralized minutes in which we refueled, ate and hydrated before going out on the second lap. The objective in the final part of the race was to make up time and we achieved it, so I was able to win in the Adventure Trail 450 category and, best of all, feeling very good with the bike.”
He concluded: “It’s spectacular what you can do with the CFMoto 450MT. I think it’s one of the days I’ve put the bike to the most test, because there were many complicated steps and technical and precision areas and I loved the behavior. I also really liked the terrain, the town of Navalosa and the fans, of which there were many. I had a great time with the bike.”
“Everything worked perfectly and, honestly, I’m being surprised by its capabilities. I’m already looking forward to the next race, we still have to decide what it will be, and until then I will continue training to discover how far we can go with this machine.”
