The Morini motor range does not stop growing and now new incorporations are attached to cover a segment in which they began to enter with the new Alltrhike. And it is that Moto Morini, which is of Italian origin, but that since 2018 belongs to Zhejiang Morini Vehicle Co. Ltd, returned to the market with half -displacement models and not for more “small” and simple motorcycles.
But now they have registered some design documents, precisely in the name of the parent company, which makes it clear that the next step they are thinking about is to get fully into the pure and half -displacement motorcycles.
These are two motorcycles that would be in their development phase and, therefore, we will have to wait time to see those designs on the street. But what can be known is that we would be talking about two motorcycles that would use a monocylindrical engine of about 300 cubic centimeters. According to the information filtered by Cycleworld it could be similar to that of the Kawasaki KLX300. It does not mean that it is, but that the manufacturer could have inspired him or have used some derivation of it.
That would imply that we would be talking about a power around 30 hp, perhaps something below, so they would swell the list of enduro and adventure a2 motorcycles of initiation. A segment that in recent times is seeing how more and more capable models arrive but not so demanding or heavy.
The two 300 Morini motorcycle are practically the same
As for each of the motorcycles and the tenor of what we can make clear for the designs, it would be that we would be facing two motorcycles that, in essence, would be the same. Because in addition to sharing the engine, they would also do the same with the chassis, the cycle part and much of the body. The big differences between the two are only given the frontal zone.
On the one hand, the most Adventure version uses a front fender near the wheel and its headlights and screen are typical of this type of motorcycles. On the other hand, in the enduro version the fender is located on the top and the mask is of an enduro type, much smaller and collection.
Now we have to wait to see the next steps of Moto Morini and if the motorcycles will arrive on time to be able to see them in the next EICMA, even if in the prototyped phase or we will have to wait for extra time.
