In terms of vehicle protection, Touratech has among its offer the new fairing side protectors, designed specifically for the latest generation of models from 2025 onwards. Made with 25 millimeter thick stainless steel tubes, the “Tech Plate” offers interesting new features that go far beyond its protective function.
This is integrated into the design and also provides us with a universal attachment element to which a wide variety of soft luggage can be safely attached. The range of protectors is complemented by a specific version of the “Expedition” engine protector, made of 4 mm thick aluminum, as well as hand protectors and others such as those for the water pump, headlights and ABS sensors.
Along with this range we find a large stock of accessories designed to offer a generalized functional improvement. A good example of this is the brake lever extension and the wide “Works” footpegs for long distances, specially designed for use with enduro boots. Likewise, Touratech offers us an all-terrain air filter capable of offering extra air flow. Added to all of the above is the side stand extension, which improves stability on soft terrain.

As an alternative, different side bags belonging to the ranges are available. Endurance, Travel and Extreme Edition with quick closures for attachment to the stainless steel luggage rack. Those who prefer to do without a luggage rack have the Discovery 2 soft luggage system. This is attached to the passenger seat using a strap system. Various deposit bags Ambato series and additional bags of various sizes complete the luggage range.
Another section where Touratech can offer us a good assortment of accessories with which to improve the capabilities of the Ténéré 700 is that of the suspensions. Here the German brand has a version of the Cartridge Kit Extremespecially designed to improve the operation of the fork.
This system combines suspension and damping into a single unit, replacing the standard internal workings of the fork with its independent functions. It offers efficient response, as well as extensive adjustment options for spring preload, rebound and compression. As a complement to this equipment we have the shock absorber Touratech Suspension Extreme 2.
Also adjustable in all three basic parameters, this shock features independent adjustment options for the high and low speed compression ranges. Its easy-to-use controls and a wide adjustment range allow individual and precisely reproducible configurations. This is helped by design features such as the high-flow damper piston, low-friction seal, large oil volume in the grooved reservoir and hydraulic stop.
But this is not all, since we also have different springs that replace the standard fork and shock absorber parts. These offer noticeably improved sensitivity on small road imperfections and greater driving stability under heavy loads or sporty driving styles. As a complement to this range of equipment designed to improve the suspension section, we have the Touratech Suspension height lowering kits.
These are presented as an efficient option for those who have problems with the Ténéré 700’s seat height. Like the standard length spring sets, these have progressive characteristics reducing the total distance by 35 millimeters.
