Making a parallel with the famous “hand of God” of Maradona, we could say that in the manufacture of this Katana GSX1100sac-Sanctuary’s work, the collaboration of some divine being would also be involved. However, the objective of this project was to create the personal motorcycle of the brand’s owner, Hiroyuki Nakamurain addition to serving as a world showcase, demonstrating what the members of the team that are precisely in charge are capable.
The final result of this idea offers us a motorcycle that exceeds the limits established so far by the company itself, also seeking the most absolute perfection. There is no doubt that this RCM-644 establishes the bases of future projects, where ac-sactuary will continue to be a world reference within the scope of the Restomod. All this combined with a unique and unrepeatable style to the reach of very few specialists dedicated to this same need.
Suzuki Katana GSX1100S RCM-644
Anyone who closely follows Ac-Sanctuary is aware, when looking at this superb preparation such as the Restomod concept, has taken to an end never seen before in other works of the Japanese specialist. Among other things because this Katana GSX1100s assembles new invoice elements such as the OHLINS management cushion kit released in this project.
Beyond this, the restomod process carried out on the motorcycle has followed the canons established within the brand. As for the final appearance, maintaining the eighties lines that make this GSX1100s katana a truly iconic motorcycle, the RCM-644 has a front and rear carbon fiber fenders, and a redesigned front fairing with some modernist touches, thus being able to wear an even more shocking appearance. Other notable elements are, for example, the different supports and tapas responsible for hosting and sealing different parts of the motorcycle.
As if this were not enough, this Katana GSX1100S incorporates a complete motor update composed of various components signed by Dinxthe subsidiary brand of ac-sactuary. In this case, they are included from a new crankshaft with more crossing, connecting rod and forged pistons of 74 mm, or the internal cams and pinion manufactured by Yoshi.
A 40 mm Mikuni carburetors battery has also been coupled. In short, we now have 1,135 cc and a widely improved power level. The cherry cherry comes in the form of elements with which to lower the final weight of the set, in addition to giving a general touch of exclusivity to the whole. While this motorcycle, initially, would be used by the owner of the brand and would serve as a sample in the different rooms where Ac-Sanctuary has a presence, from the direction of the Japanese firm they have confirmed that the Katana GSX1100S RCM-644 has finally been sold to one of its best customers.
