Pedro Acosta puts “the horns” to the GASGAS of MotoGP with his new Triumph Street Triple 765 RS

Since the 2019 season, Triumph has rewarded the most complete Moto2 rider. This year it was the turn of Pedro Acostacurrent champion of the category after winning the title at the Malaysian Grand Prix with Red Bull KTM Garlictwo appointments before the season ended.

The Triumph Triple Trophy highlights the exceptional performance of Pedro Acosta on the track, and seeks to recognize more than just victories and reward the work behind each race, fast lap and comeback, as well as highlight the enormously competitive nature of the intermediate category as everyone competes with the same Triumph engine.

With three pole positions and eight fastest laps, the Spanish driver demonstrated his determination in each event of the 2023 season and won the crown of this particular competition. According to #37 himself, in Moto2 “The talent of the pilot stands out a lot” and commented: “Being in this category for two years has taught me to be more competitive, more regular, more patient and, above all, to know how to act differently depending on the circumstances of each race.”

Pedro Acosta He has already made his debut in the premier class during the Sepang tests and Malaysia has stated that: “it is very important to follow the course of things and, if you want to get to MotoGP, going through Moto2 with these engines is key. It is a very competitive and difficult category, which prepares you to make the leap to play with the older players.”
