Polini, always at the forefront of innovation, has just presented the main improvements that will now be available in its range of For Race 5 exhausts. The most significant change affects the manifold outlet curve, completely modified from the cylinder outlet to the first cone of the expansion.
It is a total redesign that optimizes the flow of exhaust gases, significantly improving engine response, mid-range torque and acceleration progression. The new geometry of the expansion, increasingly closer to the concepts of the Big Evolution, is born from the analysis of telemetry and data collected in the Polini Italian Cup competitions, on all circuits.
The result is an even more efficient, reactive and usable exhaust, capable of making the most of any racing configuration. The expansion is made with sections of differentiated measurements, welded completely by hand, which confirms Polini’s high level of craftsmanship.
For its part, the Black silencer, updated in both the fixing system and the ends, is made of light alloy, with laser engraving, internal core for direct exhaust and is completely removable to replace the sound-absorbing material.
