SoyMotero.net arrives in Colombia: the local edition of a market of more than a million motorcycles is born

Colombia, a huge market, and still going

That SoyMotero.net has decided to take the leap is not the result of chance. We understand the needs of today’s motorcyclists, and in a market like this, it was the next step. That is why it is important to know the numbers, because they help understand the reason.

According to the ANDI and Fenalco Motorcycle Industry Chamber, with data from the RUNT, Colombia closed 2025 with more than 1.1 million new motorcycles registered, 34.94% more than in 2024. That represents an average of 91,679 motorcycles per month.

And the pace has not slowed down. Between January and September 2026, 1,026,176 new motorcycles were registered, 28.26% more than in the same period in 2025.

In the Latin American panorama, Colombia also stands out for its volume. Until July 2026, sales of two, three and four-wheeled vehicles totaled 808,018 units, about 37.5% of the 2,153,364 in the seven countries in the regional report. In July alone there were 135,352, 18% more than the previous year.

An audience that was already there

We did not arrive in Colombia from scratch. Between June 15, 2025 and June 15, 2026, SoyMotero.net registered 327,537 local active users in Colombian territory and 1,781,332 events and direct interactions.

And there is one fact that we especially like: 99.29% of that audience comes through organic search and direct traffic. These are people who look for useful information and return on their own initiative. For all this, we have decided to give the Colombian public what they need.

This will be SoyMotero Colombia

  • Own portal at soymotero.net/co, with local linguistic adaptation. There they talk about rims (what in Spain we call tires), license driving and cylinder capacity. A close medium begins by using the reader’s words.
  • Colombian teamwith local writing and social networks that speak to the motorcyclist “in Colombian.”
  • Own channels on social networks to build a direct community with those who read us.
  • Support from Spain: an environment shared with the Spanish edition, which will provide editorial experience and help it grow.

As for the content, we are committed to an original one that tells the news of the region and connects them with the reality of those who drive a motorcycle in Colombia.

What’s coming

With a market of this size and an audience that already reads us, it made perfect sense to give Colombia its own media.

Welcome to SoyMotero Colombia.
