Suzuki liters x kilos 2025: helping to get food spending little

This week the tenth edition of the liters X kilos of Suzuki was held, the competition between engine journalists to lower consumption where fuel savings transforms into kilos of food for the most needy families. In total they were 3,337.5 kilos of food, which will go to the Food Bank of Valencia to help those affected by the DANA.

One more year we had the privilege of being able to participate. This edition The protagonist was the Suzuki Swit Mild Hybrid, an 82 hp utility that homologates 4.4 l/100 km with manual change and 4.7 l/100 km with automatic transmission, approved consumption in a mixed cycle and with WLTP regulations.

Like other years, we formed equipment with a partner (in this case Diego Avila of current engine) and we set out to complete the 57.4 km open traffic route. We had the version with manual change in luck and we set out to do it as well as possible and repeat the victories of 2021 and 2023. We did not do it wrong, since the on -board computer indicated 2.8 l/100 kmafter investing 1:02:08 hours.

Of course, this time there were companions who did better. Alfonso Aguilera and Borja Fadón obtained a consumption of only 2.6 l/ 100 km in the manual category (40.9% less than the consumption approved in a mixed cycle). With the automatic model, Guillermo Rodríguez and Nacho Torres obtained 3.0 l/100 km (36.2% less than approved consumption).

With this edition, which is the tenth, more than 38 tons of food have been donated to the Food Bank. The donation will be made to the Food Bank of Valencia, through the Spanish Food Banks Foundation and its Delegation of Madrid, which will be responsible for the distribution of food.

It is a small grain of sand that helps that Food Bank attend more than 137,000 people (more than 7,000 infants) at risk of social exclusion through 540 charities that have distributed more than 22 million more than 22 million of kilos of food.
