LS2 has obtained an important judicial victory against Shark, after a legal process that has prolonged for four years. The Supreme Court of Spain has inadmitted the appeal presented by the French firm, thus giving the reason definitively to the brand and closing the case on the alleged offense of patent related to modular helmets.
It is thus confirmed that the convert and Valiant models do not violate the patent registered by Shark in 2005, which expires at the end of this year. This ruling is a firm support for the legality and originality of the brand’s products, reinforcing their leadership in design and innovation in the sector. In addition, the solidity of the brand’s international patent portfolio, including that of the Valiant, recognized by the European Patent Office.
