The wave of renovations of large awards at the MotoGP World Cup continues, and now it has reached the turn of the France GP. Through a statement issued by the organization of the championship, the agreement with the current promoter for another five years will be signed, so added to those of season 2025 and 2026 of the previous contract, it means that we will have GP of insured France until 2031.
In this way it is confirmed that one of the most emblematic tests of the championship and, in addition, one of the most followers to attract to the circuit will continue to be part of the calendar.
France’s GP is the most successful calendar
We must not lose sight of the fact that the France GP has been beating the championship circuit record for two consecutive years. He succeeded in the 2023 edition and in 2024 he managed to overcome. Le Mans is one of the clues with more tradition and that shows, because fans enjoy track activities but also outside.
During the France GP weekend fans can choose among many options throughout the day, something similar to what is then lived with the 24 hours of Le Mans. It must be remembered that Bugatti’s layout, in which the competition is celebrated, returned to the championship in 2000 and that Jorge Lorenzo with 6 victories is the pilot with more triumphs in the layout, although Giacomo Agostini is the one who has the most victories in the GP of France with 7, although distributed among several clues.

We are the largest sporting event in France, and the stands reflect our audience in constant growth and increasingly diverse, showing exactly what we want to see throughout the world while sport continues to expand exponentially. France is a key market for us and, working with Pha Claude Michy, we couldn’t ask for more ».

For his part, the promoter of the appointment, Claude MichyPha Claude Michy has affirmed: «The privilege is having met Carmelo Ezpeleta, the CEO of Dorna, who has always deposited his confidence in me. I have great respect and deep gratitude because it has managed to evolve MotoGP and make it this incredible show. Our contract as a promoter expires in 2026, and I am glad, honor and proud to announce that it will be extended until 2031 ».
