With the V49 AIR, GIVI offers a trunk with a huge space of 49 liters for transporting luggage. Sufficient volume to store up to two full-face helmets. All this in much smaller dimensions than what one would expect due to its capacity: 620 mm wide x 470 mm long x 305 mm high, supporting a maximum load weight of 10 kg.

A technology patented by GIVI, the result of the work carried out by its R&D Department in the wind tunnel, which guarantees the reduction of vibrations and aerodynamic noise. To do this, the GIVI top case has four fins with diffusers strategically located on the sides.
These fins are intended to reduce the turbulence that the trunk can create in the rear area of the motorcycle, and channel the air so that it flows more quickly and uniformly. The upper covers have a painted finish (paint-over) that allows total integration with the aesthetics of the motorcycle as they are designed for later customization.
The V49 Air has GIVI’s exclusive Monokey fixing system that uses a single key for manipulation. The top case incorporates a new lock that increases practicality of use. The V49 AIR’s locking system has also been renewed, incorporating a new position that allows the trunk to be opened by turning the key 60° instead of the usual ninety.
In this 60° position, the key can be removed, leaving opening and closing operational and allowing access to the interior at all times. However, in this position it is not possible to unhook the suitcase from its support, so it remains securely attached to the grill.
