The Ducati Panigale V4 has obtained a new international recognition: The award Good Design Award 2025awarded for the excellence of its design. Sponsored by the Chicago Athenaeum, the Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, this award is one of the most prestigious awards in the design industry.
The Good Design Award 2025 certifies Ducati’s international prestige
Founded in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, the Good Design Award each year recognizes and certifies global excellence in this field. This achievement further enriches Ducati’s already prestigious track record and, together with the iF Design Award 2025 and the Red Dot Award 2025, both founded in Germany and considered among the most prestigious design awards, completes a hat trick of absolute prestige for the Panigale V4.
Furthermore, achieving the Good Design Award 2025 consolidates the model once again as a true “beauty queen” capable of combining aesthetics and high-level performance. Now in its seventh generation, Ducati’s new superbike represents the latest expression of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer’s sporting DNA and perfectly embodies Ducati’s philosophy of creating motorcycles that combine beauty with sophisticated technology.
Its stylistic principles evolve the concept of integration between aerodynamics and design, creating a harmonious union between form and function. Andrea FerraresiDirector of Strategy and Style Center at Ducati, commented after the brand received the Good Design Award 2025: “Receiving the Good Design Award is a great pride for us. Each line and each volume of the Panigale V4 is born from a precise vision, in which design and performance must dialogue in harmony.”
He concluded by stating that “This recognition validates what it means to design a Ducati: creating motorcycles capable of generating emotions at first sight and fulfilling that promise once in motion, thanks to the integration of beauty and technology”. Its design arises from the idea of reinterpreting the stylistic principles of the emblematic 916 with a modern touch, fusing them with Ducati’s sporting DNA.
The objective was to create a motorcycle capable of paying tribute to the history of the Italian manufacturer, while incorporating all the innovations and experience acquired thanks to its successes in the World Superbike Championship. In short, offer customers maximum competitive excellence in the form of a registrable sports motorcycle.
