The production of the new demo450 MX, the first motorcycle of Ducati Motocross in history, is underway in the Burgundy Factory. After the second world podium conquered by Jeremy Seewer in the France Grand Prix, the first demo450 mx left the production chain. The celebration of the event was attended by Tony Cairoli, who contributed his invaluable experience to the development of the motorcycle, and Alessandro Lupino, the pilot who won the first victory and the national title in his debut with her.
Developed and tested in competition to be powerful, light and reliable, the demo450 MX is able to amplify the pilot skills of its pilot, whether professional or amateur, offering the confidence that allows it to go beyond its limits. The DESCO450 MX is the first model of a full range of specialized off -road motorcycles, designed to take the Burgo Panigale company to new worlds, go to new motorists and, therefore, grow the Ducatisti community. The Ducati monocylindrical engine of 449.6 CC with demodromic distribution is unique in the specialized offroad panorama, offering the possibility of taking better advantage of each change ratio, at the exit and between the curves, thanks to a specially favorable power delivery, which combines the torque at low and half regime with the extension of the bench. The light aluminum frame has been designed to have the least possible number of welds, for the benefit of the solidity, lightness and stiffness of the structure.
The demo450 MX is also the first motorcycle motorcycle of the world equipped with a traction control capable of accurately defining the real sliding of the rear wheel, and of identifying the driving phases in which it should not come into play so as not to limit the motorcycle benefits.
Likewise, the Ducati Performance catalog is full of options to bring the Desmo450 MX to the motorcycle piloted in the MXGP World Championship by Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini. The special pieces offered include mechanized factoring components such as wheel bushings, lower typical and the upper address of the direction, but also a complete escape, silencer Akrapovič Slip-on titanium and brake tweezers Brembo Racing.
