When we believed that we had already seen practically everything in the universe of classic sports, Yoshimura arrives and disassembles the argument with this spectacular Suzuki GSX-R750. The Japanese coach par excellence, responsible for some of the most competitive motorcycles of the Japanese circuits, has done it again.
This time with a GSX-R750 of ’86 under the arm, which has transformed into a functional work of art. The best thing is that it is not a prototype, nor a rescued piece from the museum. It is real, wheel … and it can also be yours.
His real name, the one that Yoshimura has given him, is “Complete Machine #604”, a creation that is part of the Yoshimura Heritage series, and that pays tribute to the golden years of the Japanese superbikes. Based on a GSX-R750 of 1986, this Restomod is pure Racing essence with an impeccable execution. A motorcycle that is printed by Yoshimura’s character from the fairing to the last screw.
Aesthetically, it maintains the classic lines that marked an era, with the typical resistance decoration of the coach, but what really matters is under the skin. Its heart remains the mythical four cylinders in line of 749 CC refrigerated by oil, an engine that already delivered about 100 hp and that, with the retouches of the house, wins in response, reliability and (tell us) that in sound.
The technical section is not far behind: full escape Yoshimura Cyclone, adjustable suspensions, Brembo improved brakes, mechanized CNC pieces and endless details that make this Gixxer something much more serious than a restoration with love. Behind this jewel there are engineering, there are hours of test bench and, above all, there is respect for history.
The position has also been reviewed to offer a more aggressive position, oriented to sports use. Because although distil nostalgia, this Suzuki is designed to roll, and roll strong, either in circuit or in the private collection of a passionate.

This incredible GSX-R750 of ’86 prepared by Yoshimura can be yours … but you will have to bet strong
And if all this were not enough, Yoshimura has confirmed that the motorcycle will be auctioned in June 2025. The bid will start at 6.04 million yen, which at the current exchange is around 39,500 euros. A starting figure that may seem high and that is not available to everyone, but that is more than justified if the level of detail is taken into account, the pedigree of whom the signature and the potential to become a collector’s jewel.
In a world where vintage is fashionable, they rarely cross retro aesthetics and modern engineering with such success. If you ever dreamed of having a GSX-R with the soul of races and legend character, this may be your chance.
