There are few brands in the two-wheeled sector that have grown as noticeably in recent years as they have. Royal Enfield. Not only with respect to range, where it is increasingly complete and extensive. Also in purely numerical terms, where the Indo-British firm continues to grow its sales year after year. The latest report issued by Eicher Motors leaves no room for doubt:
“Royal Enfield recorded monthly sales of 1,00,670 motorcycles in November 2025. The company witnessed a growth of 22% over the same period of the previous year, compared to 82,257 motorcycles sold during the same month of the previous financial year. Additionally, it exported 10,265 motorcycles during that month, compared to 10,021 in the same period of the previous year.”
Royal Enfield and the 2 million motorcycles manufactured as a target
In order to establish sales levels of this magnitude, it is necessary to have appropriate facilities. In this sense, the brand’s megafactory that operates in Oragadam, southwest of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, is a key point to achieve the goal of manufacturing no less than two million motorcycles a year. They also rely on other factories that operate in different places on the planet.
A clear example of this policy is the new assembly plant in Thailand, with which, in addition to being able to assemble more than 30,000 units per year, Royal Enfield has strengthened its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. As a direct consequence of these production policies and the excellent sales results, the brand’s shares recently rose “almost 7% in a single session, reaching record levels”as pointed out by Ride Apart.
In conclusion, Royal Enfield is fully focused on production, a fact that we can see when we witness the more than a million motorcycles sold last season, or how models like the Hunter 350 have quadrupled the sales of some of its most direct rivals, such as the Honda H’Ness CB350.
Now we just have to wait to see the future sales reports that the brand regularly offers. They will corroborate (or not) whether they are capable of successfully achieving their goal of two million motorcycles manufactured per year. Something that seems like a chimera if we stop to observe the general situation we have. Although Royal Enfield being the precursor of this cause, it is more than likely that it will achieve its goal sooner rather than later.
