The well -known Spanish customizer Fran Manen has presented in first one of his most suggestive creations to date: the Bmw r nine t gulf, A motorcycle that pays tribute to classic motor racing with a modern, aggressive and exquisitely artisanal approach. Few chromatic combinations evoke as much passion as the blue and orange blue of Gulf Racing, mythical competition car sponsor such as Ford GT40 and Porsche 917.
That inspiration is the basis of this spectacular BMW, where every curve, every detail, breathes Motorsport’s history. But it is not just a beautiful painting: the R Nine T Gulf has been redesigned from the foundations with a clear and sporty vision. “We wanted this motorcycle to have a character, that when you saw it pass it, you knew that it is not one more”explains Manen himself.

The work begins with a BMW R nine t seminueva, which is stripped of its original configuration to later cut and modify the subchassis. On the other hand, the seat has been retouched in pierced skin with contrast seam “Dark Racer” so characteristic of the house.
Both the front and rear fenders are made of carbon, next to the air intake and a new keel/spiiler manufactured in fiber, in a totally handmade way, to give a more sporty touch to the low zone of this nine t gulf. Aesthetics that is magnified thanks to the details in brushed metal that we find in several points of the motorcycle.
In terms of equipment, the command post is made up of a digital accountkilometers, accompanied by semimanerares Café Racer, along with LED flashing installed in the fists. The exhaust system has been replaced by a model handcrafted by the LDK team, underlining the visual musculature of the rear.
Low profile tires next to the tight front suspension and a new Ohlins rear shockwheater complete an aesthetic as radical as it is balanced. One of the key points that differentiate this preparation of an exhibition motorcycle is that everything is approved to circulate on public roads, with the exception of the exhaust tube that in some countries may not be legal to circulate on the street through its sound.
In addition, the BMW R Nine T Gulf keeps its reliable boxer motor, combining power and softness, ideal for those who seek sensations without sacrificing usability. This project is not only a tribute to Motorsport’s glorious past; It is also a declaration of intentions by the Malaga coach.
