The new and expected BMW R 12 g/s is just around the corner, after the official announcement of the brand of its next official presentation on March 27 at 5:00 p.m., European schedule. A mount that arrives to delight those more traditional enduro lovers, which in the past the Bávara brand offered in the form of mythical models such as R 80 g/s of 1980, or later with the BMW HP2 Enduro portentosa 2005.
In any case, thanks to the German Motorrad online partners, always well communicated with the high -controls of BMW, such as its general director Markus Flascch, we already know the first brushstrokes of the model, but above all that we can expect from a motorcycle of this type within the current German range.
BMW r 12 g/s: simplicity and efficiency with retro enduro image
This is perhaps the best way to describe what we can expect from the new BMW R 12 g/s, a mount from which we knew the first details in the 2021 season when they were hunted, in the middle of the testing test, which at that time seemed to be the future R Ninenet Scrambler and Urban G/s of New Generation.
Subsequently, in March 2024, Markus Flasch revealed in an interview the future launch of a new and light GS, equipped with an air -cooled boxer engine, 21 -inch front tire and a new frame. This is precisely the BMW R 12 g/s that will finally be presented at just 48 hours.
