He Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2026 has left all kinds of news. But one of the most striking has not been a motorcycle, but an accessory designed to make life easier for any traveling motorcyclist. The proposal comes from the hand of Cococasea Singapore-based motorcycle accessories and equipment firm specializing in luggage solutions.
His latest creation, the trunk Q3rethinks the traditional concept of “top case“We are talking about a 65-liter aluminum trunk that incorporates an integrated telescopic backrest, which, under normal conditions, acts as support for the passenger. But, with a simple gesture it can be extended to offer lumbar support for the pilot as well.
What’s new about this trunk?
The key is in its adjustable design. In fact, it allows various positions and angles to adapt to different driving positions. It is not a rigid system, but is designed to accompany the natural movements of the seat, something especially useful on long trips where fatigue in the lumbar area can become a serious problem.
Another of its strong points is a solution that is as simple as it is practical: the absence of a key. Instead of a traditional system, the trunk can be opened using a numerical code configurable directly on the mechanism itself. Everything works without electricity or wiring, which reduces possible failures and simplifies daily use. Its price, in exchange, is around 505 euros in the Japanese market.
But the brand has gone one step further with another even more versatile variant. We talk about Q1 Trolley45 liters, which introduces an idea that fits perfectly with the tourist use of the motorcycle by converting it into a travel cart.
The system allows you to remove the trunk of the motorcycle and attach four compact wheels to it, along with an extendable handle that takes advantage of the backrest mechanism itself. In a matter of seconds, the luggage goes from being anchored to the motorcycle to becoming a suitcase ready to move through an airport or a hotel. The entire set is also stored inside the trunk itself when not in use, without the need for external accessories. Added to this is the structural advantage of aluminum, which offers much greater resistance than conventional carts. For some time now, GIVI has offered a similar idea, but not integrated into the system itself, which gives it an extra advantage.
