Zero Motorcycles celebrates two decades since its founding and does so with a very special edition of one of its most emblematic models. The new Zero SR/F 20th Anniversary will be limited to only 40 units: 20 for North America and others 20 copies destined for selected European dealers.
The presentation of this limited edition also coincides with the first new features of the 2027 range, which incorporates new colors in several road and dual sport models, as well as a review of your official rates. In this way, Zero seeks to bring its motorcycles to a broader audience, making them even more accessible.
SR/F 20th Anniversary: at the forefront of the EV segment
Founded in 2006, Zero Motorcycles commemorates its first two decades of history with a limited edition of the SR/F. With only 20 units available in Europe, the SR/F 20th Anniversary becomes one of the most exclusive versions marketed so far by the brand.
This special edition combines a Jet Black finish with gold accents, specifically selected premium components and 20th anniversary graphics. The choice of the SR/F to celebrate this anniversary is not coincidental. Its arrival in 2019 marked one of the great turning points in the history of Zero Motorcycles.
Developed on a completely new platform, it debuted a new generation of the Z-Force propulsion system, the Cypher III operating system, Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control and a new chassis architecture. Seven years later, the SR/F continues to be one of the models that best represents the Zero philosophy.
The current generation delivers 190 Nm of torque and 83 kW of power, combining the immediate response characteristic of electric propulsion with a chassis designed to offer sporty, intuitive and precise driving. Its official price in Europe starts at 23,090 euros and it will be starting next November when we can try to get one of the units of this special series in our country.
Zero news for the 2027 range
The celebration of the 20th anniversary comes accompanied by the first new features of the Zero 2027 range. Several models of the Street and Dual Sport families will incorporate new color options with which the brand expands the possibilities of choice within its catalogue. But the change will not be solely aesthetic. Zero will also review the prices of certain models as part of its strategy to make electric motorcycles more accessible.
The Yankee firm explains that the “optimization of manufacturing and supply processes has allowed Zero to improve its cost structure and transfer part of that savings to the final price of certain motorcycles, maintaining the brand’s quality, performance and driving experience standards.”
