Triumph Street Triple 765 R A2: a desired version
Triumph’s Street Triple series, especially the 95bhp 675 models, has always been highly regarded, catering to both new and experienced riders on two wheels. This bike has always been a great school, thanks to its easy handling, excellent components and the smooth performance of its three-cylinder engine.
Now, Triumph has launched the new Street Triple 765 R A2, tailored for those who need to limit their riding, but still retain its original spirit. It retains the 765cc engine tuned to a maximum power below 70 kW, and a 35 kW limitation kit. This version will be available in dealerships from September 2024.
The updated Street Triple 765 R arrived in 2023 with significant upgrades derived from the Moto2 racing engine programme, improving its performance, torque and responsiveness. This new generation features aggressive styling, sportier ergonomics and higher specification. Triumph has decided to offer this A2 version to allow novice riders to enjoy a sporty and exciting riding experience.
Paul Stroud, Triumph Commercial Director, says: “The Street Triple 765 R A2 offers A2 licensed riders incredible performance, aggressive styling and precise handling, plus the unmistakable soundtrack of our triple-cylinder engines.«Once owners have obtained the A licence, any Triumph dealer will be able to reconfigure the bike to return it to its maximum power of 70 kW.
