Last November, on the occasion of EICMA 2025, TVS Motor made us participate, among others, in the striking concept RTR HyprStunt. In short, we are looking at an urban naked, fun and agile, designed both for daily use and for stunt fans. Now everything indicates that the brand could already be working on its final street version. The latest patent registration by the brand shows us in detail what would be to come.
TVS RTR HyprStunt: What we know
Months after its introduction in prototype form, the RTR HyprStunt has recently been registered by the brand as the platform for a future low-displacement naked model. As we already told you then, TVS has put different technical aspects into the same shaker with which to shape a mount with a compact and sporty appearance, initially focused as a stunt motorcycle.
In the mechanical section, it would use the same 300 cc RT-XD4 engine presented shortly before by the brand itself and later released in the new Apache RTX 300. We are talking about a liquid-cooled single-cylinder block, DOHC, 4 valves and 299.1 cc, associated with a six-speed gearbox assisted in turn by a slipper clutch. The brand declares a power of 36 HP at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 28.5 Nm at 7,000 revolutions.
Regarding its chassis part, the first CAD images of the RTR HyprStunt inform us that the model would come equipped with an inverted front fork, a central rear monoshock and a pair of petal discs for braking functions. These are joined by a radial anchor caliper at the front while at the rear, it has a double brake caliper, the second activated by a lever placed next to the clutch, a common assembly on this type of stunt motorcycle.
Other notable details of the model are the absence of lighting equipment or the voluminous rear handle that serves as support for the pilot during acrobatics. According to the first information being considered from Cycle World, a possible street version of the RTR HyprStunt could directly replace the current Apache RTR 310. Let us remember that the latest evolution of this, presented at the end of 2023, is powered by the previous engine of this saga, the same one that is also used by BMW’s G 310 range.
With 312 cc, its final performance is somewhat lower than that offered by the new version released in the RTX 300. In any case, there is no doubt that something is moving within TVS Motor. It is even possible that in the coming months some details will also be revealed about another of the prototypes exhibited by the brand at the last Milan Motor Show. We refer to the extreme Tangent RR Concept.
In this case we are looking at a super sports car with a radical appearance, with a composite monocoque chassis and an orientation clearly inspired by competition. Unlike the RTR HyprStunt, it is very likely that it will equip a larger displacement engine. Perhaps the same one with which the new Norton Atlas range has debuted, a 585 cc twin-cylinder very similar in conception to the one released in the F 450 GS.
In any case, it has some significant variations in the technical section. Among them, a larger displacement, as well as a crankshaft set at 270º, unlike the 135º used by the mechanics of the new medium-displacement ADV from BMW Motorrad, the result of its collaboration with TVS Motor.
