Thailand, Argentina, United States, Qatar and, finally!, It is the turn of the 2025 Grand Prix that this weekend will be played, as usual, in the Jerez circuit – Ángel Nieto. The Jerez track will be the world epicenter of motorcycling for two days in a season that is having a clear dominator: Marc Márquez.
Marc is shining with his own light in 2025 and arrives at the Grand Prix of Spain after having won all the victories at stake less that of Austin. In addition, last year in Jerez we already lived a special duel between Bagnaia and Márquez that took the Italian and surely Marc wants to “mark his territory” in front of a pecco that is minimizing the damage waiting for the arrival of clues in which he can cut the difference.
But between the two we have an Álex Márquez who, leaving aside the mistake he made in Qatar’s race and relegated to the sixth place, is shining with his own light. In Jerez Álex he is one of the candidates for victory along with his brother and Bagnaia, but we must not lose sight of, as little, Franco Mobidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio.
A priori, victory seems destined for one of the six Ducati pilots, including a Fermín Aldeguer that is growing in the category and is surrendering to a great level. Although other pilots could enter the fight for the podium, such as the French Johann Zarco and Fabio Quartaro with Honda and Yamaha respectively, and that they are getting closer to the head posts.
The doubt is to know how the KTM will work this weekend, because in Jerez last year they were really competitive, both to get the second position and Dani Pedrosa the third in the Sprint race. We will also have to be aware of the evolution of Aprilia in which, for obvious reasons, Martín will not be and that this year he is not being so often seen in the head posts.
Precisely an “ex” of Aprilia, Aleix Espargaró, will be one of the focus of attention with the sling participating as a guest. In preseason, he was competitive with the Japanese motorcycle and although his mission this weekend will be to work for the future, we must not forget that the eldest of the Espargaró is still competitive.
Where to see the great prize of Spain 2025
Finally, this weekend we can enjoy the races open. As usual in almost all Spanish appointments (GP of Spain, GP of Catalonia and GP of the Valencian Community) Atresmedia will broadcast part of the weekend. Of course, it will be from Saturday when both training and Sprint race can be seen through Mega. Already on Sunday it will be the sixth who broadcasts the races.
Likewise, DAZN will continue to offer through its platform and the usual operators, everything that happens on the track seasoned with interviews, press wheels, reports … In the same way, the MotoGP videoplay offers the live signal of the championship although narrated in English.
