More than a decade ago, Yamaha launched a new Hyper Naked range, which includes the innovative MT-09, MT-07, MT-03 and MT-125 2027. The MT family inspired a new generation of drivers, creating a legacy more relevant than ever these days.
Since then, each model has evolved, preserving its unmistakable style marked by the sportiness of its consecrated design. In 2027, the MT-125 joins the next-generation Hyper Naked range including a revised silhouette and new color scheme.

The 2027 MT-125 retains its well-known 125 cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve overhead SOHC 4-stroke single-cylinder. In turn, it is equipped with variable valve timing (VVA), which optimizes performance between 7,400 and 11,000 rpm, and electronic fuel injection.
The brand approves final dimensions of diameter x stroke of 52.0 x 58.7 mm, with a compression ratio of 11.2: 1. The block is associated with a six-speed gearbox with an assisted slipper clutch (A&S) that provides an extremely light touch on the lever to easily change gears.
Yamaha declares a power 15 HP at 10,000 rpm and 11.5 Nm of maximum torque at 8,000 rpmwith an approved average consumption of only 2 liters for every 100 kilometers traveled. This, together with a fuel tank with a capacity of 10 liters, offers us the possibility of enjoying a maximum autonomy close to 500 liters.

Regarding the chassis, the 2027 Yamaha MT-125 uses a Deltabox type chassis and an asymmetrical reinforced aluminum swingarm. The suspensions are controlled by a 41 mm Kayaba inverted fork with 130 mm of travel and an independent central monoshock anchored directly to the swingarm. Likewise, the braking system includes a 292 mm hydraulic disc and radial anchor caliper at the front and a second 220 mm disc at the rear.

This modern design is accompanied by a dark smoke transparent front mask with a crystal effect “MT-125” logo to complete the look.
Designed to turn heads, it now features a new high-contrast color scheme with the option Redline Whitewhich includes a two-tone seat and adds to the existing iconic color range, as well as a striking new “125” side graphic on the tank of each color version.
A new sculpted tank shape, combined with a distinctive textured panel on the side fairing with a transparent smoked and glitch effect pattern gives the MT-125 its timeless attitude. The new shape provides greater comfort to the rider, both driving in a relaxed manner on everyday urban routes, and adopting a more sporty position in linked curves to enjoy the thrill of driving.
To ensure that the user remains connected and informed on each journey, it incorporates a five inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity via free app Yamaha MyRide and Integrated navigation with turn-by-turn directions. This connectivity allows the rider to manage calls, music and messages on the fly.
