There is still a 1300 gs to find
Apparently, several Brazilian citizens arrived Milan with the intention of tourism at the controls of a fleet of 1300 gs of rent, which had previously reserved on August 4. According to official sources, the ten units belong to the HP Motorrad rental company. After collecting them from the facilities of this, the customers parked them in the parking video guardian of the hotel itself where they stayed.
What the Brazilian tourists did not think at any time, is that the next morning, instead of finding their brand new 1300 gs of rent parked where they had left them the night before, there were only a wide empty surface and no trace of the motorcycles. Something, on the other hand, quite strange taking into account the security with which the aforementioned parking has. A fact that forced them to cancel their planned trip to the Alps area through Switzerland.
As they detail from Moto IT: “According to the images of the security cameras, the theft occurred in several stages, starting at 1:00 am first two people, then three and finally four, they stole the motorcycles one by one, leaving the parking lot through the passage of pedestrians to avoid the automatic barrier.”
After leaving their initial astonishment they gave the alarm immediately and to the place both agents of the local police and HP Motorrad personnel appeared. After activating a search operation in the area, as reported by the Italian media, “Nine of the ten motorcycles were found shortly thereafter in the courtyards of nearby buildings”. Some of them showed damage of different consideration in the direction area, in addition to having stolen the suitcase kits that mounted.
After the event from HP Motorrad they have declared: “We appreciate the rapid management of the situation by the Police and we are pleased to announce that almost all motorcycles have been recovered.” For their part, the authorities have confirmed that they are still looking for 1300 GS, which has not yet recovered, as well as the authors of the robbery.
