Suzuki has just announced the official launch, exclusively for our country, of its new GSX-8R Special Edition. A series limited to such Only 35 copies which stands out essentially for the striking yellow color that its silhouette covers. This reminds us, de facto, to other previous editions of the GSX-R saga in which the Japanese firm used a similar design to give color to its sports mounts.
Like then, this GSX-8R special edition also combines the aforementioned yellow with finished parts in black, as well as the brand logo or the “8r” badge that shows on the sides of the fairing. It also has a numbered identification plate located on the tank.

The GSX-8R special edition remains unchanged in terms of motor, cycle, electronic or equipment. Like the rest of color variants, it continues to trust its propulsion to a parallel bicylindrical engine of 776 CC DOHC of New Generation. This stands out for a soft and controllable power delivery from low revolutions, with a progressive response to high revolutions.
Likewise, the Cotsñal Draw at 270 degrees, offers a driving experience with a more sporty character and a distinctive sound similar to that of V at 90 degrees. The declared power reaches the 83 hp with a couple of 78 nm at 6,800 rpmhomologating an average consumption of 4.2 liters/100 km. This new GSX-8r limited edition is equally available for card A2 as the standard version of the model, with limitation to 35 kW.
In the aerodynamic plane, the GSX-8R is inspired by the GSX-R series, with a completely closed fairing that improves air flow and high speed stability. The yellow color of this special edition emphasizes its sports cutting design. In addition, ergonomics has been optimized with a sports driving position, allowing pilots to enjoy versatile use in different piloting situations.
For the cycle part this GSX-8R special edition has an inverted fork showa SFF-BP and a posterior monoamortiguador. In the braking it equips a double 310 mm front disc with Nissin four -pistons radial tweezers and a state -of -the -art ABS system.
