Exactly five years have passed since Triumph and James Bond sealed their mutual loyalty on the big screen. Then the Triumph Tiger 900 and the Scrambler 1200 appeared in the main action scenes of the twenty-fifth installment of the Bond saga, “No Time to Die.”
Now they return to their adventures, although this time in the new video game 007 First Lightdeveloped by IO Interactive, creators of the acclaimed Hitman franchise. An action-adventure game with an original, stand-alone story that reimagines the origins of a young James Bond.
A customized TF 250-X stars in 007 First Light
As we say, this is not Triumph’s first appearance in the Bond universe. Since appearing in the 25th James Bond film, where 007 piloted the Triumph Scrambler 1200
Now 007 First Light, “presents a bold, self-contained origin story for 007, allowing players to experience the formative events that turned a young James Bond into MI6’s most iconic agent”clarify its creators.
As confirmed by both parties, a customized TF 250-X with a flamethrower in the iconic Q. Bond laboratory will appear in the new 007 First Light game. During their journey through the game, players will be able to use Triumph’s MX mount adding an exciting touch to the action. Already last year, at the IO Interactive booth at Gamescom, Triumph’s performance and innovation in the immersive world of 007 was showcased.
About 007 First Light, Hakan AbrakCEO of IO Interactive, commented during the presentation event last summer: “With 25 years of experience creating compelling action-adventure games in the Hitman franchise, our studio is excited about this monumental opportunity to leverage that experience to bring 007 back to video games.”
