The line between genius and madness is a blurred line in which Travis Pastrana usually moves. He has been doing it, in fact, all his life and it seems that no matter how many years go by, he is not willing to let it go. Of course, more and more we see good old Travis on four wheels instead of two, but don’t let that fool you because the “clunker” he presents to us today has crumbs.
It is a small pick-up buggy. Until then there is nothing out of the ordinary, beyond how comical it can be to see this type of car. But things get interesting when you find out that it has not one but two Suzuki Hayabusa engines to make it move… and boy does it move!
In reality, this new Pastrana stroller is not an improvisation or a simple creation. In reality, this type of car, which in a certain way happens to have a V8 (handmade and without joining the two blocks) is used in grass races on short circuits in the United Kingdom. Imagine that power that approaches, if not exceeds, 380 HP without much traction: many hands, a lot of adrenaline and a lot of fun.

And Travis Pastrana has just that, and he has also decided to use his new toy on asphalt. So, all that power with all the possible grip ends up resulting in a beast that lifts the front wheels off the ground to pull wheelies.
We do not know exactly the total weight of this mini pick-up, but we do know that it weighs “almost nothing” and precisely that weight-power combination is what makes the thing not only stand up but is perfect for skidding and even both at the same time.
It cannot be denied that it looks like it will be tremendously fun and also demanding, but we must not overlook that it also looks like it can be dangerous, something that Pastrana does not seem to mind. Of course, compared to the rest of the dangerous things he’s done, like jumping out of a small plane without a parachute to put it in the air or his “final trick” with the back-front flip, this must be as dangerous for him as it is for the rest of us to take the lid off the yogurt.
